The Blues started the game well with Dewi making good runs up front and Will and Tim trying to get to grips with the midfield. Joe A and Henry were untroubled at the back and Finn only had one corner and a wide shot to deal with. Will and Dewi managed to carve out the best chance of the first half, with Dewi putting his shot just wide of the on rushing goalkeeper following a hint of a push in the back that was not spotted by the referee.

The second half saw the Blues make some changes to personnel, but again they looked comfortable. The cutting edge was not there from the previous week but it looked like a goal would come. Joe A went on a rampaging run from the edge of his own area that took him into Abbeymead's area but unfortunately his shot went just wide of the left upright. Will also saw one of his shots go wide of the goal. Abbeymead did not threaten the Blues' goal until one minute from the end. A goal kick was mis-judged by the Blues defence and the Abbeymead striker bore down on goal. The Abbeymead striker placed his shot wide of Finn and into the back of the net. Not for the first time this season the Blues had lost a game that they had controlled.

The second game saw the Blues meet the Rodborough Bears for the first time. The first half again was controlled by the Blues but ended goalless. The Bears only crossed the half way line once and did not manage a shot on the Blues' goal. The Blues found chances hard to come by though and saw two corners from Dewi, one of which that hit the post and one that flashed across the goal in front of Tim and Will that begged to be touched, as their best efforts on goal.

The second half again saw the Blues find chances hard to come by and the best efforts were from a volley from Will that went wide. The Blues knew it was not going to be their day and from a long kick from the goalkeeper, the high bouncing ball bounced awkwardly towards the Blues' goal. Following confusion between Charlotte and Henry in goal, the Bears striker managed to get a foot to the ball and guide it into the back of the Blues' net. The Blues tried to recover, but time and luck was not on their side and they slipped to their second defeat of the day.

Y.M.C.A 0 Charlton Rovers Blues 0

A game of two halves saw the Blues control the first half and Finn having nothing to do. The Blues continued their frustrating day in front of goal with Will having the only shot of the first half for either team, forcing the goalkeeper to make a good save.

The second half saw Y.M.C.A control the game and launch numerous attacks. Finn found himself very busy in the Blues' goal but was able to deal with anything that was thrown at him. Y.M.C.A had five attempts on goal but could not break the deadlock. The game ended in a draw and the Blues were knocked out of the competition having not scored a goal.
